Some Delicious Meal Choices...
- Aperitif
Toast prepared with pots of snails: snail sandwich "or" snails as an aperitif.
Small tip: Once the toast is prepared, put it in the micowave for 1 minute ... its divine!
- Starters
If its summer, start with a plate of asparagus or a cream of asparagus soup if its winter. The white asparagus called "Beauty of Briande" grows entirely underground, in the absence of light, giving it a delicate flavor. This plate is best accompanied by a bottle of Sauvignon wine. Continue enjoying your meal with a salad made of Poitou terrine buffalo slices, and terrine of sliced ostrich stuffed with poitevin. To enrich these flavors, prepare salad dressing with vinegar ,the pulp of figs, and walnut oil. The best choice for wine is a Saumur red. Let the taste savour in your mouth!
- Second course wine of Haut-Poitou
You can not go wrong by choosing duck confit with fried green vegetables and fried potatoes. These fried potatoes are embellished with a pinch of saffron, and crocus flower which is picked by hand.
- Dessert
How about a fruit soup where you add a touch of blossom honey, a teaspoon of marmalade, honey, and fruit liqueur. Accompany it with an assortment of biscuits and meringues ...
