The Villate Equestrian Farm a stud farm in Arquetan where ponies are raised for sport and leisure. The ranch comprises 50 hectares of green and undulating meadows on the edge of the Vienne River. It has a sand-floored ring and 13 boxes, including two which are especially equipped for monitoring mares about to give birth. Two state certified instructors and an Equestrian Tourist Guide are waiting to take you on many exciting activities. Recreational classes for children 4 years and upwards...The club, coupled with the breeding centre of Arquetan, also enjoys the use of a lorry for outings or competitions The location of the farm allows pleasant rides in the "Little Switzerland" area on the edge of the Vienne River for those who prefer horseback rides just for the pleasure of riding.
