The most surprising site in this pretty village is its ancient fortified castle with its truncated dungeon touring over the main street. The 12th century church and ancient castle chapel are part of the fortified walls which offer a panoramic view of the Clouère Forest Valley. The fishing pond (category 2) covers a very pretty 2.2 ha area, and you will also find a picnic area along the Clouére River. Fishing regulations apply to the river with a few particularities including: fishing with engines, cords, and fly fishing are prohibited and there is a limit of 2 fishing rods per fisherman.
