Listed as one of the "remarkable gardens" , the Priory Gardens are a paradise for those who love nature. 600 species grow at the foot of the prior's walls where the chapel is the first part of your visit. Behind it, the garden opens out on to a 15th century style garden planted in the Italian Renaissance style and with plant beds and vegetable gardens sometimes bordered by chestnut or willow trees.
