La Roche Posay, is the European capital of hydro-dermatology thanks to the healing and soothing qualities of its waters. The town also offers many recreational activities such as balneotherapy in the spa's waters, a casino, golf course, hippodrome, cinema and festivals. Accommodation : hotels, campsite, furnished and unfurnished holiday apartments, self - catering accomodation. The town is in an excellent location at the crossroads of Poitou, Touraine and Berry, between the valleys of the Creuse and Gartempe rivers. It is an ideal location for an enjoyable stay. The tourist information office organises guided tours of the medieval town and spa centre. Local food market on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
