Situated in the south-western corner of Vienne, Vouillé has an extraordinary natural and architectural heritage.

The Tourist Office ** can help you in your search for accomodation and restaurants, businesses and services.  Of particular interest in the enormous Forest of Vouillé St Hilaire, stretching out along the three rivers : the Boivre, the Auxances and the Vendelogne.

Explore the area using the marked trails (you can buy the collections of trail cards from the Tourist Office for 2.50 €) .  With these trail cards you will be able to discover local history by way of chateaux, mills, washhouses and other remarkable local features.

Vouillé can also offer culture : every year the libraries offer special activites,  the social centre organises festivals, and Virecourt has activieties also.  Local organisations are very active, and offer a host of different cultural events and activities.
