This traditional crafts and farming museum displays old tools and objects from everyday rural life. An outstanding 100 sq. metre working model of Mirebeau displaying life from the 12th to 20th centuries.

The town is also famous for its breeding of the 'Poitou donkey' (Baudet du Poitou). Among the more than 4,000 objects, you will discover a working circular sawmill dating back from 1860, a set of distillery tools from 1930 and more than 400 porcelain dolls. During the summer months there are also activities concerning these ancient crafts.
