Notre Dame Church, situated in the lower part of the historical town of Chauvigny, was built during the 12th century. Though damaged during the Revolution, it underwent restoration in the 19th Century and has managed to keep its Romanesque chancel.

Also don't miss: the medieval town and Géants du Ciel , bird show. Be sure to be there to experience the summer events and entertainment. Nearby : the World Heritage listed Saint Savin Abbey.
