Rated as a Remarkable Garden, here you can stroll through three gardens set around this lovely château overlooking the Vienne River. Here a rose garden is separated into four areas with yew trees and a lush plant border. The visit is followed by giant artichoke patches bordered by boxwood, and it ends in the lower garden on the banks of the Vienne River where two washouses are lined by large boxwood beds in the form of trapeziums covered by giant six hill pitcher plants.

Also visit  Touffou Château. See the François I Tower and its frescos, the chapel tower (chapel and dungeons), and the Hôtellerie Tower (ancient bakery and kitchens). Nearby : the medieval town of Chauvigny and its flying bird show.
