The harmony of its landscape makes the La Roche Chateau one of the most beautiful stately homes. Majestically overlooking the Belle Valley, this chateau was built between the15th and 18th century, and its gardens were designed by Le Nôtre. Its facade melds Gothic and Renaissance style sculptures. Built around 1530, the chapel underwent many transformations until 1880 when the magnificent stained glass windows were installed. The château also houses the Order of the Maltese Cross Museum. Nearby : Belle Floral Garden at Magné, Gençay Château, the Romanesque church and Galmoisin Château at Saint Maurice la Couère.
