The name Château Couvert first appears in records dating from 1520. Protected by a moat, the vast building has enclosed grounds, dovecot, designed hedges, an orchard and woods. The French Revolution damaged the monument, but recently restored, the château offers the possibility to rent rooms for seminars, weddings and receptions. Contemporary space: 500m2 for a rebirth of Art. Temporary and permanent exhibitions funded by Grimaldi Magré. Nearby: the Futuroscope theme park, Château de Dissay and Saint Cyr Recreation Park.
