Nearby is the old Gençay castle, the Floral Park de la Belle at Magné, open from March to November, the Chateau de la Roche, a renaissance chateau open to the public, and the very beautiful Romanesque church at  Saint-Maurice-la-Clouère. At the animal park Monkey Valley at Romagne you can walk among uncaged monkeys in shaded natural countryside, and  at Latitudes Nord, you can see dogteam racing without snow.
