This inn has been run by the same family for four generations, and it has preserved its flagstones, fireplaces, beams and antique furniture. The chef Luc Masse offers a gourmet menu updated three times a year. His original recipes allow you to discover traditional  and seasonal Poitou specialities. A former Post House Inn on the pilgims trail to Santiago de Compostella, the establishment has a particular  welcome for pilgrims (accommodation and snacks).

Lusignan is a town of history and legend, a Green Holiday Town, homeland of the Lords of Lusignan, who were at one time kings of Cyprus, Jerusalem and Armenia. Lusignan is the town  of the legendary mermaid Melusine. Nearby, Jazeneuil has a very attractiveand Romanesque church on the banks of the Vonne.
