Angles-sur-l'Anglin, one of "the prettiest villages of France", is the home of a rare heritage which is not accessible to the public for preservation reasons. This consists of sculpted prehistoric frieze of "Roc aux Sourciers".  It dates back from Magdalenian times, 15000 years ago. This frieze, which is unique to the world, was discovered in 1950. It is considered as one of the most important sites of Paleolithic art.

The interpretative centre offers the chance to discover an innovative reconstruction of this exceptional site, by associating educational scenography and a multimedia display taking 30 minutes. After being taken  back through timeto the  Magdalenian era, visitors will be able to discover the magic of this unforgettable frieze.(Accessible to the visually impaired ).
